VALLEY OF OIL CITY, ACTIVITIES
Scottish Rite Masons, Venango Lodge of Perfection, 4th through 14th Degrees.
Masonic Hall, 15 East First St, Oil City, Pa. Spring Reunion will be held on
April 18th and 19th. On April 18th a Dinner will be held at the Latonia Theatre
in Oil City at 6:30 P.M. Following dinner the Men will walk to the Masonic Hall
and the 4th and 5th Degrees will be conferred, then return to the Theatre.
Saturday morning at 8:00 A.M. the 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th, and 14th Degrees
will be conferred.
CLOWNS: The Valley of Oil City has a clown unit, The Scottish Rite Masonic
Family Clowns, have been in existence for 2 years. During this period they have
participated in parades, visited at Nursing Homes, entertained at Blue Lodge
Activities, and provide entertainment for Valley Activities.
ABBOTT SCHOLARSHIPS: Applications are now available for Abbott Scholarships
(grant), they can be obtained from the Secretary or on line at the link below.
Deadline for the Scholarship is March 15th to be in the hands of the Secretary.
Forms can be obtained and filled out on line, but must be printed and sent to
the Valley Secretary, P O Box 1044, Oil City,Pa. 16301 All information must be
in duplicate.
